These are recreational kayaks with wide open cockpits. Take the kid
or kids with you, bring the dog or just stretch out and relax. When
it is time to paddle you will be surprised, wide and stable does not
mean slow.
Eric Jackson always includes a kids model in his boat selection in
the Recreation line it would be the Mini Tripper, see info
below. The adult line up consists of two sizes and two models of
each size, the Day Tripper 10, the Day Tripper 10 Elite, the Day
Tripper 12, and the Day Tripper 12 Elite.

 The
Day Tray:
The Day Tray is a sliding workbench that is completely removable and
allows for the paddler to work with it close to their lap and to then
push away towards your ankles when not using it. It makes bird watching,
taking pictures, and fishing super easy. Although the Day Tray can be
used for just about anything, it has specially built items to make fly
fishing from the seat of the kayak very easy. It’s got it’s own
stripping basket that also doubles as a fish net for getting the hook
out of the mouth and not injuring the fish prior to release. Also built
in is a great sized tackle box for a day or two of fishing. |
